Documental DVD of ALESSIO BAX with DANIEL BARENBOIM
"Barenboim on Beethoven " project (EMI) has been a great success. In 2005 Daniel Barenboim performed the complete Beethoven piano sonatas over 8 concerts in two weeks at the Staatsoper in Berlin. The performances were sumptuously captured on film and are now presented here in a 6 DVD set. Also included are 6 master classes with the world’s most notable young pianists where the legendary man imparts his wisdom to the next generation. One of them is dedicated to ALESSIO BAX, where he plays the fugue of Hammerklavier sonata by Beethoven.
