Born in Perm. She graduated from the Gnesin Academy of Music in Moscow (2004) as an opera singer.

She has won various competition, including The Bella voce Competition in Moscow (2001), the Geneva International Competition (2003), the International Pavel Lisitsian Competition in Vladikavkaz (2003), the Rimsky-Korsakov International Competition of Young Opera Singers in St. Petersburg (2004), in 2005 she won the 1. prize of the International German Competition of Anneliese Rothenberger (Insel Mainau/Germany),Intarnational Stanislaw Moniuzko Vocal competition(2007)Warszawa and 3. prize at the International Competition of Elena
Obraztsova (2005) St. Petersburg.

In October 2006 she took part in the International Competition of Opera Singers (Operalia) of Placido Domingo, sang in final Gilda/Rigoletto (conductor: Placido Domingo).

In 2002/2003 she participated in master classes of Elena Cotrubas, Dennis O’Neill, Elena Obraztsova, Vladimir Atlantov.

Elena has made her debuts as Clarice in I Filosofi Immaginari /Paisiello at the Utrecht Music Festival,conductor Eduardo Lopes Banzo ,stage director Javier Lopes Pinon(Holland 2003).

Since 2002 she became a soloist in the Mariinsky Theatre. She has performed a wide repertoire at the Mariinskiy Theatre including Naiade in „Ariadne auf Naxos“, Brigitta/“Iolanta“, Frasquita/“Carmen“, the Contessa de Folleville/“Il Viaggio a Reims“, Gilda/“Rigoletto“, Teresa/“Benvenuto Cellini“, Pamina/“Die Zauberflote“, Mozart Requiem. Together with Mariinsky Opera Company and Valery Gergiev, she has toured to Moscow, Finland and France.

Elena has made her French debut in 2005 as Contessa de Folleville in Il Viaggio a Reim at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris.

In 2005 she took part in a Gala concert with State Hermitage Orchestra to mark the I.000th anniversary of Kasan.

She performed in many concerts throughout Europe and Russia including „The Bells” by Rahmaninov (Cardiff, November 2006) and in February 2007 with Royal Liverpool Philharmonic she sang Mahler Songs from „Des Knaben Wunderborn“ and „The Bells“ (conductor Vasilij Petrenko).

Elena took part in concerts in Lisbon, sang Shostacovich „The Satirasb“ and Jewish Songs (piano: Larisa Gergieva) and has sung Jewish Songs in Toronto (November 2006).

In December 2006 by the invitation of Opera de Quebec/Canada, Elena took part in a Gala concert where she has sung Gilda/“Rigoletto“.

In January 2007 with Mariinsky Theatre she has sung Contessa de Folleville/“Il Viaggio A Reims“ at Washington Opera and August 2007 also in Madrid Opera (conductor: V.Gergiev).

In March 2008 she made her celebrated debut in Riga as Giulietta/“I Capuleti e i Montecchi“ with the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, on the side of Elina Garanca as Romeo.

She will be singing “Magnificat” of H.Kaminski in April 2008 with the Munchen Rundfunkorchester.

In 2008-2010 Elena will sing Contessa de Follevelle by Rossini at Opera-Theatre Avignon,Opera National de Bordeaux,Opera de Marseille,Opera de Massy,Opera-Theatre de Metz,Opera National de Montpellier,Opera National de Nancy,Opera de Nice,Grand Theatre de Reims,Opera-Theatre Saint-Etienne,Theatre Capitole de Toulouse,Grand Theatre de Tours,Opera de Vichy.

In spring 2009 she will sing Gilda/“Rigoletto“ in Nancy and Caen/France.

Further successes in the last season include theaters like Grand Theatre de Bordeaux, Opéra de Marseille, Opéra de Monpellier, Opéra de Nice where she sang Contessa di Folleville in Rossini’s Viaggio a Reims.

In September 2009 she gave a sensational debut at Rome’s Accademia di Santa Cecilia with this role under the baton of M° Kent Nagano.

Future debuts include Elvira in Bellini’s I Puritani (Riga, in April 2010)as well as Cathérine in Bizet’s La Jolie Fille de Perth (Stadttheater Bern, in May 2010).

From the 2010/2011 season she will be a member of the Saxonian Statesopera Dresden where she will perform roles like Gilda, Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier), Konstanze and Pamina.

During 2011/2012 she will sing in RIGOLETTO (Gilda), ALCINA (Oberto), IL VIAGGIO A REIMS (Corinna), ZAUBERFLOTE (Pamina), LA CLEMENZA DI TITO (Servilia) and LE NOZZE DI FIGARO (Susanna).
