Born in Barakaldo (Vizcaya) in 1974., he takes his Piano and Chamber Music higher education studies in “Jesus Guridi” School of Music in Vitoria with Alberto Nieto. In 1996, awarded a grant by Vizcaya Regional Government, moves to Vienna. For three years takes Correpetition studies in the Austrian capital (Chamber Music and accompanying singers) with the teachers D. Lutz, F. Fanning and C. Stanischeff. There, works for the international agency “Yehudi Menuhin, live music now”, offering concerts all over Austria. Later (1999-2000) improves his studies in Munich (Alemania) and gets the advices of Félix Lavilla and Wolfgang Rieger. Has taken part in “Xavier Montsalvatge Duet” (name handed over by the composer himself) and the quintet “Cámara abierta” those with which has obtained several prizes. Accompanist in Courses and Masterly Classes of important singers, singing teachers and stage directors, as Walter Berry, Mrgarita Lilowa, Renata Scotto, Simon Estes, Antonieta Stella, Licia Albanese, Ana Luisa Chova, Enrique Viana o Emilio Sagi. Official pianist of Operalia Contest (presided by Plácido Domingo), collaborating with International Singing Contest in Bilbao, Royal Theatre in Madrid and Maestranza Theatre in Sevilla. Habitual pianist of prestigious singers as Carlos Álvarez, Ainhoa Arteta, Ismael Jordi, Elena de la Merced, J. Miquel Ramón, Marína Rodríguez Cusí, Luis Dámaso, Yolanda Auyanet, Isabel Monar, José Manuel Zapata, ryth Rosique, David Menéndez, Dante Alcalá, Isabel Monar, Jose Antonio López o albert Montserrat; Has also acted with Isabael Rey, Nancy Fabiola-Herrera, Mariola Cantero and the dancer Ángel Corella, in Granada Festivals, Perelada, Santander, Musical Fortnight in San Sebastian, Schubertiada in Villabertrán as well as in several sceneries as Palau de la Música in Barcelona, Royal Theatre in Madrid, Maestranza Theatre in Sevilla, Kursaal in San Sebastian, Principal Theatre in Santiago, Palacio de Congresos in A Coruña, Palacio Euskalduna and Guggenheim in Bilbao, Alfredo Kraus Auditory in Las Palmas, Cervantes Theatre in Málaga, Auditory in Murcia, Calderón Theatre in Valladolid, Villamarta Theatre in Jerez… as well as in several countries in Europe, America and Africa. |
