TATIANA DAVIDOVA - Iberkonzert, Artist Management and Concerts Production

Born in Bulgaria (Ruse), she attended singing studies at first in the Music School of Ruse, after at the Music Academy of Sofia and later in Spain, where she lives for 14 years.
She won the first prize at the three contests that she went to in 1990: “Svetoslav Obretenov” in Bulgaria, “International Young Singer of the Year” in Wales (United Kingdom), and “International Singing Contest” in Bilbao (Spain).

Her singing career is devoted to opera, chamber music, and the symphonic-choral repertoire. She performs a varied repertoire including Mozart, Schubert, Schumann, Poulenc, Ravel, Rachmaninov, Webern and Berg in Bulgary, Russia, Spain, France, Latvia, Mexico and England.
Notable performances in opera include the title roles in La Serva Padrona, Die Zauberflöte, Cosí fan tutte, Don Pasquale, L’Elisir d’Amore, and Les Huguenots (Marguerite de Valois).

She has worked with prestigious conductors including Romano Gandolfi, Alain Guingal, Antonello Allemandi, Roger Rossel, Günter Neuhold, Marco Guidarini, Christophe Rousset, Jiri Kout and Alberto Zedda.
She has also shared the stage with singers like Alfredo Kraus, Mirella Freni, Jaime Aragall, Raina Kabaivanska, Sumi Jo, Elena Prokina, Denia Gavazzeni, Rokwell Blake, Daniela Barcellona, Juan Diego Florez and many more.

In the symphonic-choral repertoire the following performances must be highlighted: Stabat Mater by Pergolesi; La Oda de Sta Cecilia by Haendel: Dies Irae by Caldara; Exsultate Jubilate, concert arias, and Requiem by Mozart; Nicolaimesse, The Creation by Haydn; Stabat Mater by Rossini, etc., with the symphony orchestras of Ruse, Varna, Bilbao, Malaga, Madrid, Castilla y Leon, “Pablo Sarasate” of Pamplona, “Arthur Rubinstein” of Poland and so on.

Her most notable performances in the last seasons in Spain include Lisa in La Sonnambula with Sumi Jo and Alberto Zedda as conductor; Marguerite de Valois in Les Huguenots by Meyerbeer with Marcello Giordano, both in the Opera of Bilbao; participations in the opera season of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in Romeo et Juliette, Lakmé, Die Zauberflöte, Carmen, Ariadne auf Naxos, L’Italiana in Algeri, the last one also in the Opera of Oviedo; The Creation by Haydn in the National Auditorium of Madrid and in Palacio Euskalduna in Bilbao; recitals in the International Festival of Santander, Auditorio Manuel de Falla in Granada, Jameos de Agua in Lanzarote, Teatro Monumental and Conde Duque in Madrid, Alcázar of Segovia, Auditorio de Monterrey (México), Auditori Pau Casals, Lugo Music Festival, etc.

In June of 2001 she sang the title role of the opera Mendi Mendiyan by Usandizaga at the Teatro Arriaga in Bilbao with the Symphony Orchestra of Bilbao, which was afterwards recorded for NAXOS.

From her last performances we can highlight her participation in Carmen in the Opera of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Mozart’s Requiem in Bilbao, performances as Woglinde in Wagner’s Götterdämmerung and as Oberto in Haendel’s Alcina, as well as recitals in Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid, Lugo Festival, Auditorio de León, and especially her huge success in Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville last december, along with the great pianist Roger Vignoles.

Her future engagements include performances in Opera of Bilbao and Seville and numerous recitals and concerts in the most important theatres and concert halls.
