SVETLA KRASTEVA - Iberkonzert, Artist Management and Concerts Production

Spanish Soprano native of Bulgaria. She began her musical studies at the Sofias`s Conservatory of music on piano and sing with de top score in both disciplines.
When she was very young, she made her absolute debut in Sofia`s Theater in 1986 with Otto Nicolai`s opera “Die lustigen weiber von Windsor”. Since then, she had sung in a lot (la practica totalidad) of european countries such as Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austrian and Spain, also in South Africa and South America.

In 1987 she get a grant in the Sing College of the “Teatro alla Scala di Milano”. In the stage 1988-1989 she made her debut in such theater with the world premiere of Giacomo Manzoni`s Opera “Doctor Faust” under Gary Bertini conducting.
The attainment of first prize in the Sing International Compettion “Toti Dal Monte” of Treviso offer the oppurtunity of make debuts in other important theaters joined illustrious colleagues and conductors. Then join her repertory the rol of Donna Elvira in Mozart`s Don Giovanni under conducting of Peter Maag and take part in a Italy concert tour performer the most difficults Mozart`s concert arias. She assiduously had collaborate with the Straousbougr Philarmonic Orchestra under Theodor Guschlbauer conducting.

In 1990 win the “Voci Nuove Puccini e il Suo Tempo”competition. Same year engaged for a germany tour to perform the principal role of “Lucia di Lammermoor”, Verdi`s Requiem in Francfort an where go back in 1991 to sing Dvorak`s Stabat Mater under baton Yuri Ahronovich.
Krasteva alternate a intense operatic activity with a lot of lieder`s concerts and sacred music (Monaco, Bavaria, Paris…).
In 1991 win the second prize in “Mario del Monaco” competition and is finalist in the Philadelphia`s “Luciano Pavarotti Competition”. That year turned Scala of Milan to perform “Iphigenie in Tauride” under Riccardo Muti conducting.

Since 1993 collaborate with the opera`s season of Lima (Peru, invited by great peruvian tenor Luigi Alva) where had singed Faust, Otello, La traviata, Lucia, Falstaff, Rigoletto or Turandot (Liu). In 1994 was invited to sing Mimi (La bohème) in South Africa. In those seasons has been conducting by Marco Armiliato and Renato Palumbo amog others. In 1999 was invited in a concert join tenor`s Luis Lima in Montevideo.
In 1997-1998 take part in Teatro Calderón Opera Season in Madrid performing in several productions such as Rigoletto, L`elisir d`amore, La traviata, I pagliacci and Carmen. She`s invited the next season where sing, furthermore, La bohème, Otello, Don Giovanni (Donna Elvira) and Lucia di Lammermoor, some of them had seen dvd`s market.

Krasteva is habitual guest of differents europeans, americans and spanish theathers. In 2004 July, after the success of spanish opera Arrieta`s Marina, has reappeared with the principal role of Lucia di Lammermoor in integral version in Gijón Teatro Jovellanos broadcast by television also La bohème in 2005 likewise broadcast by TV. Recently she has taked part as Micaela in a Carmen`s Production in Las Ventas (Madrid), joined Mario Malgnini, Denyce Graves and Elena Zaremba.
Her next compromises included La bohème (Mimi) in Teatro Municipal de Lima (Perú), Quito (Ecuador), Guadalajara (España) and Antibes (France). The spanish premiere (Teatro Euskalduna in Bilbao) of John Rutter`s “Mass of Children”, Violetta (La traviata) in Karlsruhe (Germany) and Elvira (I Puritani) in Linz, like your Donna Anna debut (Don Giovanni) in Sofia (Bulgaria), rol will repeat in Lima and Quito, likewise Die Zauberflöte (Pamina) in Lima and Quito. Also she will participate a new production of “La traviata” in Gijón and “Lucia di Lammermoor” and “La traviata” in Guadalajara.

She has recorded Verdi`s Requiem in Switzerlad and Bongiovanni`s record symphony nº 27 of Luigi Boccherini, Tomaso Traetta`s Stabat Mater, likewise a selection of Niccola Persiani`s Opera “Ines de Castro”. Also participe in aforesaid Gluck`s “Iphigenie in Tauride” with the orchetra and Chorus of Scala di Milano under Riccardo Muti conducting for Sony Classical.
