ORQUESTA FILARMÓNICA DE WÜRTTEMBERG - Iberkonzert, Artist Management and Concerts Production
Established in 1945, the Wuerttemberg Philharmonic Reutlingen, a public foundation, has developed into an orchestra sought after both nationally and internationally.
In recent years, Salvador Mas Conde ,Roberto Paternostro and Norichika Iimori have served as the orchestra's artistic directors. The swedish conductor Ola Rudner is the current artistic director. Along with several concert series in Reutlingen, the Wuerttemberg Philharmonic performs a series of concerts in the Weingarten Basilica which is recorded live by the Southwest German Radio and produced as CDs.

Since 2004, the ensemble has been engaged as "Orchestra in Residence" at the International Rossini Festival in Bad Wildbad and works together with prominent conductors there. It is broadcast regularly by the Southwest German Radio and in the German Radio Berlin. The orchestra has acquired a respected international reputation on its numerous concert tours in Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and in the Netherlands. A tour of Spain with concerts in Granada, Murcia, Valencia, Saragossa and other cities, gala concerts with the world-wide
celebrated soprano Edita Gruberova in 2000 and José Carreras in 2001 as well as several tours of Switzerland with Ruggero Raimondi (1999), Vesselina Kasarova (2001) and Neil Shicoff (2002) have all been exceedingly successful.

The orchestra celebrated further triumphs with concerts in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, at the Rotterdam Opera Festival, at the New Year's Day Concerts in Rome ("Concerto della Pace"), in the Philharmonic Halls in Berlin and Cologne, the Hercules Festival Hall in Munich, the Tonhalle in Zurich, the Festival Hall in Baden-Baden, as well as the Culture and Congress Centre in Lucerne, where the orchestra has been engaged for concerts up until 2007. The orchestra plays with such acclaimed soloists as Gidon Kremer, Daniel Hope, Radu Lupu, Tzimon Barto, Frank Peter Zimmermann, Natalia Gutman, Sabine Meyer and Anatol Ugorski and concertises under the baton of such renowned guest conductors as Richard Bonynge, Philip Ellis, Leonid Grin, Alessandro de Marchi, Arild Remmereit, Yoav Talmi, Jaap van Zweeden and Jac van Steen.

The Wuerttemberg Philharmonic is also distinguished by regular collaborations with prominent ballet companies such as the Royal Birmingham Ballet on their tour of Germany, the Ballet of the Hessian State Theatre in Wiesbaden, or the Birgit-Keil-Foundation at the Ludwigsburg Festival. In November 2005, the orchestra appeared as guest in the famous "Sala Verdi" in Milan and was subsequently invited for further concerts in 2006 und 2008. "Japan Arts", the largest artist management agency in Japan, invited the Wuerttemberg Philharmonic with its musical director, Norichka Iimori, to undertake a concert tour in Japan in February, 2006 where it performed eight concerts as the official representative of cultural life in the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg within the framework of Japan's "Germany Year". This tour stood under the aegis
of the Minister-President of Baden-Wuerttemberg and was a magnificent triumph: the musicians were rewarded with sold-out concerts, wild continuous applause and the best reviews for their performances. In September, 2006, the orchestra will also make its debut in Vienna in the renowned Musikvereinssaal [Concert Hall of the Music Society.]

Recent CD productions have been recordings of the symphonic choral works of Bruckner and Mendelssohn under the Brilliant Classic label, recordings of works by Astor Piazzolla under the direction of Gabriel Castagna ( Chandos Records), as well the CD Orientale Märchen with Ottorino Respighi's Ballet Suite Belkis, Queen of Sheba and Nikolai Rimski-Korsakov's Scheherazade under the baton of Norichika Iimori (GENUIN Music Production) which was highly praised in the international press. In addition, a CD entitled Love Duets with Daniela Dessì and Fabio Armiliato recently appeared under the Philips label. For the Japanese market, the orchestra recorded the complete symphonies by Ludwig von Beethoven under the direction of Norichika Iimori in 2006.
